Compensation: $74.00-$75.00/hr

The Position:

The Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing patient care through the use of telemedicine technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of telemedicine and be able to provide high-quality care to patients in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
  • Analyze test data to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Arrange appropriate follow up measures to ensure continuity of care
  • Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care
  • Prescribe medication as permitted by your state prescribing authority
  • Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
  • Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
  • Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion
  • Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach
  • Other related duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital – Critical Care, Family Practice or other relevant areas
  • 2 years of experience in Urgent or Primary Care
  • Must have National Board Certification
  • Willingness to Contract as a 1099 employee
  • Current unrestricted license in respective state or willingness to become licensed in the states in which we currently provide telehealth services (New York, Connecticut, Michigan)
  • Active and current ACLS and PALS certification
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA
  • X-waiver (preferred)
  • Clinical work experience with pediatrics (preferred)
