The Role: Clinical Advanced Practice Provider

Location: Remote

Schedule: Part-time role – 16-20 hours a week, with 8 weeks off in the summer; schedule is 4-5 days a week, no weekends, including a Monday or Friday beginning at 6a-7a PST with 4-5 hour shifts

License: Certified Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner with a license to practice in two of the following three statesCA, TX or FL

About This Role:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate PA’s and NP’s  to join our growing telemedicine practice.  Hazel Health delivers medical care to children who have limited access to the traditional healthcare system.  We are investing in clinical health care providers and technology to expand our reach and deliver care to patients at a place where they are most likely to engage and benefit, at school and home.  You will join a diverse group of caring clinicians who are changing medicine, one patient at a time.

Your Background:

  • A current and valid Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner license to practice in two of the following three states: CA, TX or FL 
  • Multi-language ability preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole and Vietnamese)
  • Minimum of 3 years pediatric experience.
  • Telemedicine experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills across diverse populations and ability to connect well with pediatric patients on a telehealth platform.
  • Technological skills with the ability to learn new software programs, complete digital paperwork and use multiple web and iOS based systems simultaneously.
  • Possess the following skills: organizational and time management, critical thinking, multi-tasking and team work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide on-demand urgent care to patients attending K-12 schools in multiple states  via telemedicine platform.
  • Collaborate with our care team, Pediatricians and Clinical Support Specialists.
  • Apply for and maintain and be compliant with appropriate licensing and supervision/delegation regulations in states where Hazel evaluates patients
