Major Responsibilities:

  • Keep Nursing Director abreast of all clinical updates and issues
  • Lead the governance board and will be responsible for governance agenda/meetings
  • Review and approve infusion suite policies and procedures ongoing
  • Support, advise, and educate registered nurses and other staff as issues arise in the infusion suite
  • Provide oversight and education to nursing and client experience team members within the infusion suite
  • Support clinical staff to facilitate efficiency and quality patient care

 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the selection and hiring of professional personnel
  • Maintain high levels of knowledge and skills amongst clinical team members
  • Maintain quality improvement program initiatives, identify areas of concern and potential solutions
  • Participates as needed in all programs, licensure, and other external audits
  • Stay current with latest evidence-based practice
  • Support the development and maintenance of policies according to Nursing Standards and regulations, ACHC Standards and company requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of approved accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Current basic life support/AED & ACLS certification
  • NP license and national certification (ANCC or AANP, or the ability to obtain national certification and/or NP license in state of assignment) active, unencumbered licensure free any open/unresolved disciplinary actions including probation or restrictions against privilege to practice. May be requested to obtain additional licensure supported by business
  • Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • 1+ years of NP experience in a hospital, clinic, and/or ambulatory setting caring for children and adults
  • Proficient computer skills including the ability to document medical information with written and electronic medical records

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Current, unrestricted NP license in the state of Arizona
  • 1+ years of IV related clinical experience
  • Demonstrate effective communication and teaching skills with patients, family members, and other staff members
  • Demonstrate understanding of operational and business success
  • Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Demonstrates leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Possess the ability to lead and motivate others
