Seeking Nurses with HEIDIS experience

100% Remote

Description:

Medical record collection and abstraction for year-round Medicare HEDIS project. The candidates will be outreach to providers via phone, fax, or email to request medical records for our Medicare HEDIS measures. Once records are collected the candidates will abstract the medical records per NCQA tech specs and enter the data into our system to be used as supplemental data. In this role, you will interact with these departments: quality, provider relations, and corporate quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of medical record abstraction experience

4+ years of clinical experience

Experience with medical record retrieval process (outbound calls to providers, fax/collection, data entry, etc)

Medical Assistant OR LPN/RN license (OK single state or MULTISTATE/COMPACT required)

Associates’ degree required

Knowledge of/experience with HEDIS databases

Knowledge of/experience with various EMR systems

HEDIS Overreading experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree preferred
