Remote role with overnight travel in California—preference is given to candidates living in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Summary:

The Medical Regional Clinical Manager (RCM) will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of the providers within their assigned region. As a leader of MPAC Healthcare’s management team, the RCM’s role covers a broad array of responsibilities. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the providers in their region. The RCM will also be tasked with supporting successful launches of new providers, as well as supporting, coaching, and retention of existing employees. As MPAC is growing rapidly and as the RCM is a leader within the company, the RCM may be asked to help test or pilot new programs to ensure they meet MPAC’s standard of excellence. This role will also work cross-functionally to leverage MPAC’s shared services to ensure their region is set up for success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Among other responsibilities this position will:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the provider’s in their region including ensuring providers are properly scheduled and clinical capacity is being utilized appropriately.

Plan quarterly team-building activities for the region.

Connect 1:1 onsite with providers as much as geographically reasonable- no less than 1X/quarter

Clinical management of ACO strategy

Create, execute, and monitor ACO Attribution

Direct management of providers in the region including interviewing, hiring, training, general management, annual performance evaluations and terminations, if necessary.

Work cross functionally to address any clinical or non-clinical issues for providers on their team.

Partner with the MPAC Analytics team to pull, track, and analyze performance data.

Implement improvement plans based on opportunities identified by data analysis.

Work collaboratively with Regional Market Manager of Customer Success to share data and strategy for feedback with clients.

Track progress and provide real time feedback to providers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Experience in supervisory role and demonstration of strong leadership skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate

Ability to travel and meet with providers face-to-face

 

Education and Experience:

Master’s Degree in Nursing

Nurse Practitioner license in the state your region is located

ANCC or AANP certification

Ability to work in the U.S.

Valid Driver’s License

A great attitude with a desire to help improve patient care in the senior care space
