About ANI Pharmaceuticals

Welcome to ANI Pharmaceuticals, a diversified biopharmaceutical company developing, manufacturing, and commercializing innovative and high-quality therapeutics as we transform into a leading Rare Disease company. With a diverse portfolio of generic and branded pharmaceuticals, ANI is a trusted partner for healthcare providers, pharmacists, and patients alike.  We understand the importance of accessibility, and our products are available across a wide range of therapeutic areas, contributing to the well-being of communities globally.

At ANI Pharmaceuticals, there are opportunities to contribute to our purpose every day. We foster a culture of authenticity, knowledge, and collaboration, empowering our team to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

In this vital role, you will be responsible for representing ANI’s PCG (Purified Cortrophin Gel) for Acute Gouty Arthritis to Primary Care, Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals. You will drive market development, disease awareness, and patient identification strategies within your territory. The territory for this role will include, but is not limited to Gainesville, FL and the surrounding area.

This position requires a performance-driven individual with strong clinical knowledge, strategic thinking, and a passion for improving patient access to treatment. This role is best suited for candidates comfortable with a high-activity, field-based selling model, with a significant focus on primary care engagement alongside specialty call points. Experience in patient advocacy, prior authorizations, and multidisciplinary coordination is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Promote ANI’s PCG for Acute Gouty Arthritis through clinical education and strategic engagement with targeted HCPs.
  • Build and execute territory-specific plans to drive physician awareness, patient identification, and market growth.
  • Educate providers and staff on treatment access, insurance coverage, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Market Access, Patient Support Services, and Medical Affairs to ensure seamless patient onboarding and therapy initiation.
  • Maintain detailed communication logs and follow-up documentation to support continuity of care.
  • Cold call and engage new accounts across Primary Care, Podiatry, and Orthopedics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure logistical readiness and patient support.
  • Contribute to building and scaling a new commercial footprint within an expanding Acute Care business.
  • Demonstrate compliance and integrity in all interactions.

Skills / Competencies

  • Strong understanding of patient access, prior authorizations, and appeals.
  • Familiarity with Gout flares, their clinical presentation, and treatment pathways.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex insurance and documentation requirements.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience coordinating care across multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with specialty distribution and patient support services is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; RN or clinical background a plus but not required for candidates with strong access-driven sales experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales.
  • Experience working with Primary Care, Podiatry, or Orthopedic practices is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel overnight (40–60%) depending on territory needs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$170,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.

ANI Pharmaceuticals offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
