Job Overview
Fairview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide fully remote overnight call coverage for Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital, a new 144-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is a moonlighting opportunity providing overnight virtual support for acute inpatient psychiatric services. The nurse practitioner will not be required to come onsite and will deliver care entirely via secure telehealth.
Practice Details:
- Setting: 100% Remote
- Schedule: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM overnight remote call coverage
- Minimum commitment: 2–3 shifts per month
- Compensation: $20/hour
- Admission support and crisis intervention
- Psychotropic medication initiation and adjustments
- Cross-coverage of existing inpatients
- Collaboration with onsite nursing leadership
- Structured handoff to daytime attending providers
Onboarding & Support:
- Access to EHR training in WellSky
- Behavioral health team orientation
- Supportive credentialing timeline and structured reporting
- Ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications:
- Master of Science Nursing Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- less than 1 year Previous experience in the care of psychiatric and addict patients
- MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Board Certified ABMS or AOA
- Family Nurse Practitioner-ANCC

Compensation Disclaimer
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
