As a Nursing Informatics Specialist, you will connect frontline nursing practice with advanced health information systems. Your work ensures that electronic health records and clinical data tools reflect real-world nursing workflows while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Position: Nursing Informatics Specialist
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $35–$80 /hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do:
- Translate nursing workflows and clinical needs into informatics and EHR system designs in collaboration with IT and technical teams.
- Evaluate clinical and system data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve patient care and documentation quality.
- Recommend and support enhancements to health information systems that improve care efficiency, usability, and clinical outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in clinical informatics or health IT.
- Hands-on experience working with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and clinical documentation workflows.
- Strong ability to analyze clinical and system data and translate insights into system or workflow improvements.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems
