Lehrer Family Chiropractic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a remote capacity. Our company is located in Melville, New York, but this position allows for flexibility and the ability to work from the comfort of your own home.

As a Remote Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our chiropractic patients. Your primary duties will include conducting patient assessments, administering treatments and medications, and assisting with patient education and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs

– Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by our chiropractor

– Assist with patient education and provide resources for at-home care

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

– Collaborate with our chiropractor and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care

– Communicate with patients via telehealth platforms for follow-up appointments and check-ins

– Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

– Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

– Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of New York

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN

– Experience in a chiropractic or holistic healthcare setting is preferred

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting

– Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records

– Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

– Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients

Contract Details:

This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours. The exact schedule will be discussed and determined during the interview process. Compensation will be based on experience.
