POSITION: Clinical Supervisor, Spravato Services

The Impact of this Role: 

The Clinical Supervisor, Spravato Services serves as both a practicing advanced clinician and a clinical operations leader, responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and consistent delivery of Spravato (es-ketamine) and ketamine services. This role maintains an active clinical caseload while directly supervising advanced practice providers delivering Spravato services. The Clinical Supervisor is accountable for provider performance, scheduling oversight, compliance adherence, and team alignment, ensuring that clinical excellence and operational expectations are met across all locations. By establishing clear standards, reinforcing accountability, and maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration, this role protects patient safety, strengthens provider performance, and ensures a cohesive, efficient, and effective Spravato services at all OHCP locations.

What You’ll be Doing:

Direct Clinical Care

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations related to major depressive disorder and treatment-resistant depression, including review of psychiatric history, prior medication trials, and treatment discontinuations.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans for patients receiving ketamine and es-ketamine therapy.
  • Provide direct ambulatory clinical care, including administration and monitoring of Spravato/ketamine treatments in accordance with REMS requirements and established protocols.
  • Perform clinical examinations and office procedures within scope of practice and clinical guidelines.
  • Monitor for adverse reactions, manage patient safety concerns, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the EMR.

Provider Supervision & Accountability

  • Directly supervise advanced practice providers (PAs and/or NPs) delivering Spravato services. POSITION: NURSE PRACTITIONER

The Impact of this Role:

The Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in supporting patients undergoing treatment for depression, including major depressive disorder and treatment-resistant depression, within an ambulatory infusion center. By evaluating, treating, and guiding patients through ketamine and es-ketamine therapy, the Nurse Practitioner helps improve mental health outcomes and quality of life. Through collaboration with clinical staff and coordination of follow-up care, this role ensures continuity, safety, and personalized support for each patient during their treatment journey.

What You’ll be Doing:

The responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner include but are not limited to:

  • Meet with new patients to provide orientation, assess needs, and discuss individualized treatment plans.
  • Treat ambulatory patients in the clinic for depression, including administration of ketamine/es-ketamine therapies.
  • Perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, established protocols, and available equipment.
  • Coordinate with Medical Assistants to schedule follow-up office visits as needed.
  • Conduct basic examinations as required by standard clinical protocols.
  • Serve as a resource for decision-making, planning, and policy development affecting patient health.
  • Maintain accurate outpatient records and compile reports related to ambulatory care services.
  • Collaborate with staff to assess patient needs and develop care plans to address them.

Who You’ll be Working With:

The NP will oversee and manage the medical assistant / receptionist as they help assist in checking inpatients, taking blood pressures, maintaining the schedule, and accepting new referrals for review.

Skills and Experience You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and charting practices
  • Experience in counseling and/or teaching

Work environment:

The Nurse Practitioner must be able to lift 100 pounds occasionally to assist fallen patients and be able to lift 10 pounds frequently for routine performance of essential functions. The Nurse Practitioner may be exposed to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.), and chemical hazards.
