As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to adults and older adults. This role supports our mission to provide innovative and compassionate treatment by combining psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and neuromodulation techniques such as TMS and Spravato. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and help manage specialty clinics, ensuring every patient receives tailored, effective care in alignment with our commitment to clinical excellence.
This role will be focused in part on our virtual intensive outpatient program, treating patients who need a period of higher level of care. The IOP NP will provide assessment and medication treatments to patients who are not treated outside of Salma Health. For those receiving medication treatment outside of Salma Health, the NP will collaborate with these outside clinicians to optimize patient care. The IOP NP will be part of the clinical care team and mayy also provide patient education as part of the IOP curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adult and older adult population with mental health disorders.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation and coding
- Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacologic approaches.
- Collaborate with the other team members and outside providers to provide optimal care.
- Refer patients to TMS and/or Spravato as appropriate.
- Conduct initial TMS mapping, remapping, SAINT mapping, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Active and Unencumbered California NP Furnishing License
- Board Certified as an Adult or Lifespan Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience with acute (inpatient) or subacute populations (IOP/PHP)
- 1-2 years of PMHNP experience post graduate, or completion of NP residency or fellowship
- Psychiatric RN experience
- Knowledge in TMS and Spravato

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position includes:
- Base (Hourly Rate): $85.00-$95.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and location
