Position Overview
Impireum is seeking an exceptional Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our innovative neuro-wellness team. This remote-friendly psychiatric nurse practitioner position is designed for experienced mental health professionals who are driven by clinical excellence, evidence-based psychiatry, and measurable patient outcomes. This is not a volume-based role—this is a systems-driven, high-performance clinical position for advanced practice psychiatric nurses who want to operate at the highest level of psychiatric care.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner with our team, you’ll work within an integrated care model that combines traditional psychiatry with cutting-edge neuro-wellness interventions, providing comprehensive mental health treatment to patients across multiple states through both telehealth and in-person modalities.
Key Responsibilities & Clinical Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with complex mental health conditions
- Provide expert psychiatric diagnosis and treatment using evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines
- Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications with focus on optimal therapeutic outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, and wellness specialists to deliver integrated care
- Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health record system following standardized clinical workflows
- Deliver high-quality telehealth psychiatry services and in-person psychiatric care
- Participate in treatment planning, medication management, and care coordination
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor patient progress through established KPIs and outcome measures
- Provide crisis intervention and psychiatric emergency consultations as needed
Required Qualifications & Credentials
- Board Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active nursing license in Texas, Florida, Maryland, or Delaware (multi-state licensure strongly preferred)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from accredited program
- Minimum 2+ years of outpatient psychiatry experience in clinical settings
- Strong background in adult psychiatry, medication management, and psychiatric assessment
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical documentation, compliance protocols, and quality outcomes
- Proven ability to work effectively in KPI-driven healthcare environments
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, preferably eClinicalWorks
- Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority
- Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with innovative psychiatric treatments such as Spravato (esketamine), or IV therapy
- Background in integrated behavioral health or collaborative care models
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote psychiatric care delivery
- Knowledge of neuro-wellness approaches and holistic mental health treatment
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives and outcome measurement
- Leadership experience or interest in clinical supervision and mentoring
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
