RN – Ambulatory Clinic Telephone Triage – Part Time – 8 Hour – Days

Job Description:

The Ambulatory Telephone Triage Nurse plays a crucial role in providing timely and efficient healthcare support to patients by telephone. The Telephone triage nurse provides timely and accurate assessment of a patient’s symptoms and utilizes critical thinking, nursing judgement, and approved decision support tools to provide appropriate nursing advice and determine the level of care required. This is a hybrid remote position that requires a minimum of one on-site shift per week. RNs must meet all eligibility criteria prior to transitioning to hybrid remote status.

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program – Required​
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing – Preferred

Experience:

• 1 Year Acute Care Hospital – Preferred
• 1 Year Ambulatory, triage, or medical office experience – Preferred
• 1 Year Telephone Triage – Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

• RN Registered Nursing – California Board of Nursing – Required
• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association – Required

Work Shift:

08.0 – 08:00 – 16:30 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$75.28 – $101.62
