Job Description:
The Ambulatory Telephone Triage Nurse plays a crucial role in providing timely and efficient healthcare support to patients by telephone. The Telephone triage nurse provides timely and accurate assessment of a patient’s symptoms and utilizes critical thinking, nursing judgement, and approved decision support tools to provide appropriate nursing advice and determine the level of care required. This is a hybrid remote position that requires a minimum of one on-site shift per week. RNs must meet all eligibility criteria prior to transitioning to hybrid remote status.
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program – Required
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing – Preferred
Experience:
- 1 Year Acute Care Hospital – Preferred
- 1 Year Ambulatory, triage, or medical office experience – Preferred
- 1 Year Telephone Triage – Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
- RN Registered Nursing – California Board of Nursing – Required
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association – Required

Pay Range:
$75.28 – $101.62
