Job Description
Job Title: MDS Float / Remote Registered Nurse (RN)

Requirements:
- Current unencumbered Mississippi RN license.
- Strong working knowledge of the RAI process, current MDS 3.0 item sets, and Mississippi Case Mix.
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulatory and compliance standards related to MDS.
- Proficiency with electronic health record / MDS software.
- Reliable high-speed internet.
- Ability to work independently in a float / remote capacity.
- 3 – 5 years MDS / PDPM experience.
- RAC – CT certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate, timely MDS assessments for assigned facilities.
- Apply MDS 3.0, PDPM, and Mississippi Case Mix guidelines to support correct reimbursement.
- Travel to designated Mississippi facilities as needed (typically 25% or less travel time).
