Job Description:

• Facilitates compliance with regulations and policies using PI processes. Demonstrates Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, cooperation, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity when interacting with co-workers, physicians, and colleagues.
• Promotes compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and state and federal regulations through quality management activities.
• Facilitates organizational compliance with required data reporting through chart reviews and data extraction.
• Promotes improved care outcomes and compliance with quality metrics. Explores opportunities for performance improvement through various activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Word processing (PC applications) skills, able to prepare reports and simple tables [Required]
• Ability to facilitate teams in a continuous quality improvement environment [Required]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 2+ years experience with advanced pc applications preferred (spreadsheet and graphics) [Preferred]
• 2+ years experience with data analysis and interpretation [Preferred]
• 2+ years quality improvement experience [Preferred]
• 2+ years of rn experience in health care [Preferred]
• 2+ years prior work experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital [Required]
• Experience with team facilitation in a continuous quality improvement environment [Required]
• Prior experience in quality management and/or utilization/resource management activities such as chart reviews, data extraction, data collation, data analysis [Required]

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$68,132.50 – $119,520.35
