Schedule Options:
Option 1: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Weekly shifts: Includes 8 hours of evening shifts per week.

Weekend rotation: Required to work every 4th weekend (both Saturday & Sunday).

Shift types: Day/evening shifts rotate every other weekend.
- 3 holiday shifts required per calendar year
Option 2: Modified Full-Time (32 hours/week)

Weekly shifts: Includes 8 hours of evening shifts per week.

Weekend rotation: Required to work every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday).

Shift types: Features a rotating mix of day and evening hours.
- 2 holiday shifts required per calendar year
Option 3: Part-Time (20 hours/week)

Weekday shifts: Must be scheduled between 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM PST.

Weekend rotation: Required to work every other weekend (both Saturday AND Sunday).

Shift types: 8-hour shifts (scheduled between 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM PST), rotating between day and evening hours every other weekend.

Holiday commitment: 2 holiday shifts required per calendar year.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, with prior graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in accordance with state requirements
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status – In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner
- Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients
- Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate
- Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care
- Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results
- Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior telemedicine or video-based virtual care experience
- Experience with Athena EMR
