Allina Health offers a mix of on-site, hybrid, and fully remote positions, with remote or hybrid eligibility determined at the individual role level rather than as a system-wide policy. Certain nursing roles—such as telephone triage and centralized nursing services—are posted as fully remote. Hybrid positions, including those in the Access Center, allow telecommuting from an approved remote workspace while retaining a designated on-site home base, and employees may be required to work on-site periodically to support operational needs such as new-hire orientation.

Allina Health provides inpatient hospital care, primary and specialty outpatient clinic services, home health and hospice care, retail pharmacy, senior transitions, home oxygen and medical equipment, and emergency medical transportation. The system also offers behavioral health, cancer care, neuroscience, orthopedics, and cardiovascular services across its network.

Allina Health operates primarily in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Its network includes 12 hospital campuses and more than 90 outpatient clinics, along with specialty care centers, retail pharmacies, and an emergency medical services division serving over 80 communities across eight regions. The system's service area spans from the Twin Cities metro to rural communities including Baxter, Minnesota, and River Falls, Wisconsin.
